I photographed the couple, edited the lighting and color, then designed the tattoos that I would give them.

There are many references to the tattoos I gave them.

On the male subject’s neck, a part of the name of his late dog, “Roger.”

The couple’s elbows are webbed, tattoos I myself have.

On the female subject’s outstretched arm are the names of her daughters, “Camille, Pauline”.

On the female subject’s shoulder, the year the couple was married.
